Who's The Boss?

Hello chaps and chapesses, I hope you're all doing jolly well. We are thoroughly enjoying receiving all these Christmas cards. We need to take some photos of all the latest ones received, then we can post about it. Ma says she'll help us get ours all in envelopes and posted after her exam tomorrow!

Now then, I'm an older boy as you know, and I like to sleep. I'd say I probably sleep the majority of the time when I'm not eating, snuggling or going for walkies. The vet said it's fine, and if I eat well (and do I ever!) and like my walkies, then to leave me to it. But a good old snooze requires a comfy bed wouldn't you say? Especially when one has achy legs? So why am I struggling to fit myself onto this little cushion bed?

Because Madame Cassidy has deemed that her puppy self should have MY comfy spongy bed to repose on, that's why! I mean, even stretched out, she clearly doesn't need that huge expanse of cushiony loveliness.

But because I'm a gentleman, far be it for me to shove her off her princess bed. I'll make do with the little bed. Truth be told, I could probably sleep on a washing line, but there we go! I fear it's becoming clear who is going to be the boss!

Or maybe I could gently encourage her to sleep in here more often?

By the way, have you noticed how fast Cassidy is growing? She's like a little weed! This first photo is taken at 8 weeks.

And this one is at 10 weeks. Yes, she's got her legs more stretched out here, but it's still clear to see that she's grown.

And here she is yesterday at 12 weeks. Her legs seem to be growing faster than anything, but I suppose it will all balance out in the end!
