Anyway, as you all know, me had my show yesterday. We all had to get up early. Big Harry had to stay at home cos it said no unentered dogs allowed, but actually no-one would have noticed if he sneaked in cos there be hundreds of doggies there of all shapes and sizes.
The venue be an equistr...equestr...horsety centre so there beed lots of nice horsey poops smells on the floor even though me couldn't actually find any poop, boo.
Do you see all the dirt in my beard from snuffling around on the floor! Daddy had to wash and dry my beard then mummy had to groom it all into place again, tee hee!
We arrived with lots of time to spare before it beed time for me to go into the ring, but we all beed happy watching the dogs in the other rings. We also bumped into quite a few people and dogs from ringcraft class, and maked lots of new friends too.
And into the ring we went! Me had to enter in any variety not separately classified terrier puppy (AVNSC) cos although there beed classes for many different terrier, us Airedale's no be too popular. In the class there be 2 Irish Terriers, who look a bit like me minus the black, a Scottish Terrier and a Kerry Blue Terrier.
Here mummy be pushing my tail up cos it be hiding. Me no be scared, me just forgets to hold it up sometimes. See the lady in front be holding up her Kerry Blue terrier's tail too.
Then we had to go in turn to stand for the judge and for him to look at us. He checked my eyes and my teethies.
The judge still be watching closely!
Here we be doing another lap of the ring because...
...me getted first place, whee! Me and mummy be very shocked, but very happy! Mummy wouldn't let me eat my rosette, so me be eyeing up the one the Kerry Blue terrier getted for 2nd place.
More running around! That Irish Terrier in front of me beed 12 years old, but he still looked great!
Finally me had to go into the terrier puppy class with the winning puppies from all the terrier classes. Here be the final four - me, a Parson Russell terrier, a West Highland White terrier and a Border terrier.
Mummy and daddy be so proud of me, and me be quite proud of myself. We looked the judge up when we getted home and he be a West Highland terrier breeder, so perhaps he might have picked that doggie as first anyway, tee hee!
Anyway, he are my rosettes. Pretty!
And he me be, trying hard to pose despite being very tired.
