Boring Week

Hi hi everyone. We be bored this week. After having some nice Spring sunshine earlier this month, this week seems to be rain, rain and more rain. We have had to had walkies round the streets instead of running around over at Seven Fields, boring! Me be missing all our pals who we see most day over at the fields. Me hopes the sun comes out tomorrow and it no be too muddy there. Mummy be getting me all ready for my show on Monday and she says muddy legs be a no-no, but me has seen her put mud masks on her face, so me no knows why it won't work for me!

Anyway, we have been out in the garden when it no be raining. Now it be warmer, if not drier, Big Harry likes to lie in the doorway with his body inside and his hear hanging outside, silly boy!

He goes on regular tours of the boundary.

Me be well trained by Big Harry now, so me does lookout duty too. We be good though, we don't bark at stuff. My favourite thing to watch be Josh and Chloe next door bouncing on their big trampoline! Me goes on E J's trampoline too, whee!

Paul next door beed mowing the lawn, so Big Harry made sure he beed doing a good job! We no mind the lawnmower noise.

Now those of you who were at the DWB might have hear Big Harry telling tales on me that I be eating the Wisteria. Well OK, not so much telling tales as telling the truth, tee hee!

Mummy spied on me and taked these photos from inside the house, that's why there be reflection. Doesn't she be sneaky!

Daddy no likes the Wisteria anyway, so me just trying to help him get rid of it.

Bingo! Me getted a nice big piece off to chew on. Don't worry by the way, it not be a harmful plant, and mean mummy and daddy don't let me eat more than a quick chomp, boo.

Me thinks that Bog Harry despairs of me sometimes, look at his face! Me be sure he once beed a silly puppy too!

Hi Cassidy,
I guess thats what they mean by being caught red-pawed! Does wisteria taste good? The is a huge one in the park across the road that is now flowering beautifully. Maybe we should go and try it, what do you think?

Hi, Cassidy!
What is wisteria? I am thinking it is something we call here "enredadera". Good job helping them to get rid of it!
Are you excited about your show next Monday? I will be rooting for you from here!

I don't think I've seen Wisteria before but what's that? Is it like a vine or something that crawls? Bet it's tasty...

Please do not chew the wisteria. It is poisonous to doggies. We lost our Gwandma's dog a few years ago because it ate a bit of wisteria branch when no one was looking.
We really enjoy reading about your adventures. Cassidy is growing up so fast!

Yes we remember Harry telling us about the wisteria. You're doing a good job at trimming it. Try not to poke your eye out though.

We were thinking about wisteria for our new arbor -- but got a pretty yellow vine called mandevilla instead. Hmm, wonder how it tastes.

Cassidy, you are getting so big, we almost didn't recognize you. Good luck in the show!!! Take lots of pics.

Ugh, we hate this rain too.. go away! We were supposed to have walkies in the park, but instead a walk round the block, fun, but not the same! We think that eating the Wisteria looks like fun, if you can reach it, why not!

Ah, yes ... a young gardener in the making. Very commendable. Wisteria needs HARD pruning to make it flower. I think you have the right idea there Cassidy. Good luck at the show. Enjoy yourself!

Cassidy, we hope you do very well in your show! Our mom's wisteria has lots of leaves, but not a single flower this year. Maybe you should come and prune it for her! Or maybe it just shouldn't get so cold when it's trying to flower! We vote for solution #1...

And I totally agree Cassidy - trees and plants really don't belong on fences - I made sure to remove ours!!!

Hope you got to go to the fields and good luck at the show, I'm sure it'll be loads of fun :)
